Our LECIS (Life Enrichment and Community Integration Services) Program encompasses an array of person-centered, family focused and community based services that utilize a team of experienced and knowledgeable staff to help a client define outcomes and goals they would like to accomplish. This "Team Approach" stresses positive opportunities, experiences, and activities through which each individual has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and develop increased independence and self-sufficiency. It is our role and responsibility to provide the support, structure, and guidance to assist that person to positively address the unique and special challenges they face each day. Outcomes are defined as "achieving a desired result from choices made." To accomplish these tasks, to address these challenges and to open opportunities, we provide two service delivery options: 1.) Direct Care Support (Community Based) and 2.) Residential Services.

Direct Care Support (Community Based):
- Life Skills Coaching through 1:1 Community Support: Life Skills are abilities that enable a person to be more successful and independent in their lives. Some examples of life skills coaching activities are utilization of public transportation, community awareness, cultural experiences, social skills development, meal planning and preparation, money management/budgeting, communications, education skills, inter-personal relationships, self-esteem, grooming/personal hygiene, health care, dental hygiene, activity planning and self-confidence. Levels of life skills opportunities are individually geared to each client's needs, abilities and capacities.
- Job Coaching: Job coaches work with clients in areas that include locating employment opportunities, utilizing job centers, understanding personal skills, job applications, resume development, grooming for success, interview preparation, organization skills and job tasking, teamwork and cooperation within the workplace. The ultimate goal is not only to secure employment, but help the individual maintain that employment in a positive, productive and lasting manner. This includes employer-specific and on-site job training for the client. When applicable, the job coach will monitor the client while they are working and offer assistance as needed.
- Companion Services: Companion Services are provided to individuals living in a private residence for the purposes of providing supervision, necessary care, and minimal assistance. Companion Services are not as intense or in-depth as Life Skills Coaching. Some examples of this service include providing necessary care and minimal assistance with daily living activities, grooming, health care, household care, meal preparation and planning, and socialization. Although Companions will help the client address personal goals and outcomes as listed above, the primary role of this service is to focus on the health and safety of the Individual.

Residential Services:
- Lifesharing through Family Living: (a.k.a. Family Living) provides support to persons who have not yet attained the skill level to be able to live on their own. This involves a client living with an unrelated person or family on a full-time basis in a safe, secure, and healthy home. The level of assistance a person receives is based on their needs and the recommendations of their Team. Lifesharing providers accept the person into their home and encourage them to become a part of the family and the family's life style. They are also supported in retaining their natural family relationships whenever possible. They function and participate in the family and receive the support, guidance, assistance, and caring as with any other member of the family.
- 6400 Single-Person Group Home: Single-Person Group Homes are designed to assist clients with needs that exceed the level of care and support found in Lifesharing through Family Living. Single-Person Group Homes serve one person as opposed to several clients living in the same home and are typically staffed 24/7. The level of staffing varies and is established per individual need. Community Living Coaches serve as staff in these homes and are trained extensively to meet the needs of the person. Staff members encourage the client to make their living environment as comfortable and personal as possible. As with all services provided by Touch-Stone Solutions, the person's Team works together to address goals and outcomes. Some specific goals and outcomes addressed in a Single-Person Group Home setting include but are not limited to: social skills development, communication skills, anger management, emotional support, self-esteem and self-confidence, problem solving skills, time and money management, and assistance with inappropriate and unhealthy behaviors such as verbal and physical aggression.

Client Activities:
We believe that having fun is a huge part of an enriched life and that a positive attitude is an integral part in the effort to overcome challenges. With that in mind, we strive to offer a variety of exciting and engaging activities for our LECIS clients to choose from throughout the year. Regardless of the obstacles and/or opportunities an individual faces (depending on your perspective), as a team we put on our creative thinking caps to develop a variety of things to do throughout the year. Our aim is to offer fun opportunities to our clients in hopes they can learn and experience new things while working on individual goals and outcomes. We appreciate the importance of lasting and positive memories for those we serve.
