Touch-Stone Solutions, Inc. is a not-for-profit human service agency providing services to families and individuals in Northwestern Pennsylvania. We strive to offer programs that are multi-cultural, multi-generational, and multi-dimensional while ensuring that our services are always person-centered, family-oriented, community-based and holistic in nature. While we cannot take away a person's disabilities, we can provide support and creative solutions to help them overcome the challenges those disabilities present.
As strong advocates for the intellectually disabled, we stand firmly on the premise that all individuals have the right to informed choices. We believe in and follow the concepts of positive approaches while always recognizing each client as an individual with hopes, dreams, abilities, and feelings. Our ultimate goal is to empower every individual to take advantage of the opportunities available to them; opportunities to live as independently as possible, experience their community, make use of its resources, and become an active participant in the community in which they reside.
From our inception in 1993 serving one client, we have grown and evolved and now offer a wide range of services to people from all over Northwestern Pennsylvania. Throughout our evolution we have consistently been known for our successes with those individuals presenting difficult cases, including those who are dually diagnosed.
Specializing in services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, Touch-Stone Solutions, Inc. offers residential, home and community, employment, autism support, and behavioral health programs. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare licenses our residential programs and oversees our autism support services; we are one of a handful of providers in Western Pennsylvania that is authorized by the Office of Medical Assistance to provide behavioral health services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental retardation. For more detailed information about our programs and services, eligibility, and access, please refer to our Programs page.
